Aldo Järvsoo
began his fashion journey at the age of 17, and over time fashion became an inseparable part of his life – a love for style and its wearer that remains an undying passion.
He has been awarded Estonia’s top fashion design prizes, the Silver Needle (Hõbenõel) and the Golden Needle (Kuldnõel), and has twice won the Supernoova competition as well as three times the IN Fashion Award. For his dedication to preserving Estonian folk art, he has also been honored with the title Heritage Keeper (Pärandihoidja).
Throughout his 30-year creative career, Aldo has represented Estonian fashion with shows in Italy, France, Latvia, Sweden, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Germany, and Portugal.
In his daily work, Aldo is a fashion designer at the Embassy of Fashion collective, as well as a freelance costume designer for numerous film and theater projects. He is also the founder and artistic director of Tallinn Fashion Week.
